Sidewalk Sale 39 Nibmeister Appointments w/ Matthew Chen (Matthew's Nibworks)

Enhance your writing experience at our 39th Annual Sidewalk Sale with the expert services of nib smith, Matthew Chen (@Pactagon), who will be available to tune or grind your fountain pen nibs to perfection. Reserve your spot with a $40 placeholder, which will be deducted from your final payment upon arrival. Nib appointments are available from 8am-5pm and on August 13th and 14th. The nibmeister will try and accommodate walk-ins on a first come, first serve basis. Sign-up sheets for the walk-in appointments will be located near the nibmeister's station at Atlas Stationers. Don’t miss this opportunity to refine your writing tools and enhance your penmanship!  

Appointment times run for 20 minutes & multiple pens can be worked on within this time frame depending on extent of grind / adjustment. No cancellations / refunds.

General Adjustment (Tune / Smooth) - $40

Standard Grinds (Size Reduction, Cursive Italic, Italic, Obliques) - $60

Specialty Grinds  (Japanese F, UEF, Architect, Needlepoint, Special Requests, etc...) - $80

Nagahara Specialty Grinds - $100

MATERIALS POLICY:

All complimentary materials provided are for use during the event and to take home. While we strive to provide ample supplies, materials are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Supplemental materials may be available for purchase.

ADULT SUPERVISION:

All children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult who will remain present and responsible for them throughout the entire event.
