Atlas Stationers has been a Chicago institution since 1939. Family-owned, obsessed with pens, ink, and paper, and rooted on the same downtown block for more than 85 years. Our tester tables (built by hand, by our grandfather) exist so you can try before you buy, and try everything: hundreds of fountain pens, inks, and papers, side by side, with staff who know them well enough to help you choose.

What we are really building is a community: a welcoming place for anyone curious about stationery, whether that is your first fountain pen or your five-hundredth. That is the spirit behind our Discord, our blog, our podcast, and our weekly TikTok lives, a way to keep the conversation going long after you have left the store.
