Tom's Studio Ori Whiteboard – the infinitely refillable marker

The humble whiteboard marker probably doesn't get the credit it deserves. Some of our best thinking happens with one in hand – ideas are worked out, problems solved, lessons taught and plans brought to life.

For a tool we rely on for so much, we thought it deserved a little more consideration. If you take pride in your work, why shouldn't the tools you use reflect that too?

So we started from the ground up.

The Ori Whiteboard combines a precision Japanese-made marker tip with refillable, water-based dry erase ink and a beautifully engineered anodised aluminium body that's designed to last a lifetime.

What ink can I use?
The Ori is compatible with all of our Water-based Permanent inks, highlighter inks, standard Fountain Pen Inks and Fibre Tip Inks. Please note the Ori is not suitable for use with our Shimmer Fountain Pen Inks or Calligraphy Inks.
To ensure the best performance and clean erasure, we recommend using only Tom's Studio Whiteboard Ink and only in reservoirs that have previously been used with Whiteboard Ink. Reservoirs that have been filled with other ink types may retain traces of pigment or binder, which can affect writing performance and erasability.
For the very best results, keep a dedicated set of reservoirs for your Whiteboard Ori.

How long will the tips/ink last?
You can expect the high-quality, Japanese-made tip to last for months of use. We tested a single reservoir fill in the Ori on a plotter – a device used for precision drawing – and it wrote consistently for 228 metres. That’s enough writing to cover almost an entire 4 × 6 ft classroom whiteboard!

Does it erase cleanly?
Yes. The water-based dry erase ink is formulated to wipe clean from suitable whiteboard surfaces with a dry cloth or eraser, leaving your board ready for the next brilliant idea.

How do I store the reservoirs and tips?
If a reservoir or tip is inked, it must never be left to dry out. Always store inked parts in an airtight container. If ink dries inside, the reservoir or tip will clog and can't be used again.
If you want to clean a reservoir, rinse thoroughly to remove all ink, then allow it to dry completely before re-inking.

Domestic Shipping

Atlas is happy to offer free economy shipping for orders over $75. Shipping for orders below $75 will start at $7.99.  Most orders are shipped within 1 business day.  Once your order ships, we will e-mail you a tracking number so you may track it at UPS.com or USPS.com. Please note transit times do not include weekends and holidays and deliveries only occur on business days.

We do offer express shipping.  Please note express orders will be shipped out within 1 business day.  Transit time begins when the order ships and does not include holidays and weekends.  Some products are not able to ship express.

We are unable to ship to freight forwarders at this time.

International Shipping

International shipping is available for select countries. Once your order ships, we will e-mail you a tracking number so you may track it at DHL.com, UPS.com or USPS.com. Please note transit times do not include weekends and holidays and deliveries only occur on business days.

Most international orders are delivered within 7-20 business days after shipping.  Unfortunately delays can occur and it can take up to 8 weeks for delivery.

The recipient will be responsible to pay any duties or taxes which is collected at checkout.  If a shipment is returned to us for failure to pay any duties or taxes we can re-ship your order for an additional shipping charge.  We can also cancel and refund your order excluding the original shipping charge.

We are unable to update shipping addresses for international shipments once the order is processed.

We now offer international shipping to many countries including Canada, Mexico, Australia, Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czechia, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Taiwan, United Kingdom.

If you are not 100% satisfied with your purchase, you can return the product and get a full refund for the merchandise.  You can return a product for up to 30 days from the date you purchased it. Any product you return must be in the same condition you received it and in the original packaging. Please keep the receipt.

Requesting a Return Authorization

To return an item, please use our Return Portal.

Within 24 hours of receiving your request, we will e-mail you return instructions, including a return shipping label.  For standard returns, we will deduct a flat rate of $5.99 for the cost of the return label from your refund.  If your return is due to a product defect, we will issue a return label at no additional cost to you.

Packaging and Sending Returns

Once you receive your return shipping label via email, carefully repackage the item in its original condition, including all original packaging and materials (manuals, accessories, etc.). Do not write on the product packaging. Please package the item appropriately for shipment.

Once received by our Returns Department, Atlas Stationers accepts full responsibility for all merchandise. We are not responsible for loss or theft before the merchandise is in our possession.

If a product is being returned as new, but has clearly been used or damaged prior to its return, we reserve the right to refuse refund completely.

If you ordered the item incorrectly or change your mind about an item, we will refund the purchase price of the unopened, restockable item, less shipping costs.

Returns Without Prior Authorization

If a return is received without prior return authorization, the shipment may be refused and/or returned to you at your cost.

Manufacturer Warranties

Unless noted otherwise on our site, all products are sold with the full manufacturer warranty. The period and service of the warranty varies depending on the manufacturer and product. If you experience problems with an item after the 30-day period has expired, please contact the manufacturer directly.

Processing Refunds/Replacements

As soon as we receive your returned items, we will inspect and process the items. Replacements and refunds are normally processed within 3-5 business days.
