Atlas Refillable Journal Cover Workshop

Are you also obsessed with the trending leather trifold notebook covers? This is your chance to create your own!

Endlessly refillable, these leather notebook covers are designed to contain multiple notebooks at once, making them the perfect journal ecosystem! These custom covers will be based on standard notebook sizes so that finding suitable refills from your favorite notebook brands will be a breeze. For this workshop we’ll be joined by instructors from the Chicago School of Shoe-Making and Leather Arts who will walk you through crafting your very own leather cover inspired by popular travel journals. Participants will get to choose from a selection of quality leathers and decide on customizations. You can even add your initials to the cover! Enough leather will be provided to create a cover for an A5 size notebook (or smaller: B6, B6 slim, A6…) and covers can be made into bi-fold or tri-fold style covers. It’s up to you!

This workshop will be hands-on crafting, so come prepared to learn and get creative!

All materials, hardware, and use of tools are included in the tuition.

MATERIALS POLICY:

All complimentary materials provided are for use during the event and to take home. While we strive to provide ample supplies, materials are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Supplemental materials may be available for purchase.

ADULT SUPERVISION:

All children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult who will remain present and responsible for them throughout the entire event.
